The Supdeco Dakar Group is proud to spotlight Tafsir Gnah, a graduate in Transport and Logistics (BTS & DTS, Class of 2011–2013), whose journey brilliantly reflects the discipline, versatility, and ambition that define our alumni.
Strong Foundations at Supdeco
It was on the benches of Supdeco that Tafsir took his first steps. Passionate about organization and flow optimization, he acquired both theoretical and practical skills that allowed him to quickly integrate into the professional world.
A Career Built on Diversity and Excellence
In 2013, he began his career at SENSTOCK, managing petroleum stock, then moved to DHL, where he discovered the inner workings of customs transit. After a stint in customer relations at PCCI Group, he returned to logistics with impactful experiences at H&D Industrie and Philip Morris International, where he managed international transport and export process optimization for two years.
His career stands out for his ability to thrive in diverse environments:
- SOXLLA (2018): Booking Agent for Dakar Dem Dikk
- China Road and Bridge Corporation (2019–2021): Team Supervisor on Senegal’s highways
From Logistics to Energy: A Rising Trajectory
In 2021, Tafsir joined Halliburton as a Material Coordinator, strengthening his expertise in material management and digital tools (SAP MM, Excel). Since 2023, he has continued his rise at Woodside Energy Senegal, where he has held the roles of Logistics & Material Coordinator and now Business Analyst. He leverages his skills in data analysis, reporting, performance tracking, Power BI, and stakeholder management to support one of the country’s major energy projects.
