Djakaridja DIOUBATE joined the Supdeco Dakar Group in 2017, where he obtained an Executive MBA in Business Administration in 2019. Since then, he has carved out an impressive career in telecommunications and project management, holding increasingly responsible positions.
His professional career began in December 2005 at Spacetel Guinea as an Engineering Assistant. During this period, he is responsible for the administration of MSCs, the monitoring of national and international interconnections, and the optimization of the radio network, among others. His technical skills and professional rigor propel him to new opportunities.
In March 2007, he joined Orange Guinea where he held several positions. From March 2007 to September 2007, he was Assistant Engineer, responsible for site research, negotiating and signing leases, as well as monitoring the progress of work on the various sites. From September 2007 to November 2008, he became Platform Operations and Maintenance Technician, where he was responsible for the operation and maintenance of IN platforms and the implementation of new services and projects. He was then Assistant Operations and Maintenance of IN Platforms from November 2008 to January 2009, before becoming Head of IN Platforms from January 2009 to April 2009. In this latter role, he manages projects, platform operations and maintenance, and team coaching.
In May 2009, Djakaridja DIOUBATE joined MTN Guinea. His career within this company was marked by a series of promotions. From May 2009 to January 2012, he was IN Senior Engineer, where he was responsible for project management, operation and maintenance of IN platforms, as well as implementation of new services and projects. From January 2012 to November 2014, he was IN Supervisor, responsible for the development of IN products and services, supervision of platform operation, system availability and revenue stream, and project delivery. From November 2014 to January 2018, he was PMO IS, Core and Transmission Manager, responsible for overall management and monitoring of all projects, consolidation and analysis of project supervisor reports, project risk and quality management, and relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
In February 2019, he took over as head of Mobile Money product, service and business development at MTN Guinea, where he is responsible for managing the operations of Mobile Money projects, monitoring distribution channels, merchants and specialty resellers, preparing the departmental budget, integrating the Mobile Money product and service with suppliers, and managing the MoMo solution.
In April 2018, Djakaridja founded Sididou Corp, where he provides consulting services in business development, project management and digitalization. He also leads the development of the company’s short- and long-term strategy.
Between March 2021 and September 2023, he is Senior Project Manager at NGSER in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He participates in the implementation of the project management strategy and methodology, ensuring optimal organization and good execution of projects.
Since September 2023, Djakaridja DIOUBATE has held the position of National Director of Telecommunications at the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Digital Economy of Guinea. Under the authority of the Minister, he is responsible for designing, developing and implementing the general policy of the Government in the field of telecommunications.
Mr. DIOUBATE’s skills cover a wide range, from human resources management to fiscal and social risk management, through in-depth knowledge of labour law regulation and expertise in financial management.
