On January 30, 2024 took place the first session of the “Mardis de l’entreprise” of the year with Danewell Solutions company based in Dakar, expert in the fields of WiFi networks, cybersecurity and surveillance video. Organized by the School of Engineering and Technology, the central theme of this conference was “The Issues of WiFi Network Security in Businesses, Homes and Public Spaces.”
The event attracted a diverse audience, including students, executives and experts.
The Thematic Conference provided valuable insights into the pressing issues that individuals and organisations face in protecting their networks.
Discussions at the conference focused on topics such as emerging threats to WiFi security, best practices for securing networks in diverse environments, and the role of technology companies such as Danewell Solutions in addressing these challenges. A partnership agreement has been formally signed between the School of Engineering and Technology and Danewell Solutions. This alliance aims to create opportunities for knowledge sharing, resource exchange, and joint development of technology-related projects. Students will benefit from privileged access to Danewell Solutions’ expertise, paving the way for internships, research projects and job opportunities.
