On Thursday, April 23, 2026, students from the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) of Supdeco Dakar took part in an academic visit to Sénégal Connect Park, located in Diamniadio. They were accompanied by Mr. Falou Ndoye, Director of the School, as well as Dr. Faye, Lecturer and Researcher.
This educational visit, fully aligned with SET’s hands-on learning approach, enabled students in Software Engineering and in Networks, Systems, and Security to gain direct insight into Senegal’s cutting-edge technological infrastructures. Through this immersion, they developed a deeper understanding of the challenges related to digital sovereignty, technological innovation, and the growth of the national digital ecosystem.
Interactions with on-site professionals and observation of the facilities provided students with a practical perspective on operational realities and career opportunities in the digital sector. This experience represents a key milestone in their academic journey, strengthening the connection between theoretical learning and real-world application.
The School of Engineering and Technology would like to warmly thank the Sénégal Connect Park team for their hospitality and the quality of the exchanges, which greatly contributed to the success of this visit.
