Karine Jouanelle joined the Supdeco Dakar Group in 2009 where she obtained her Master 2 in Corporate Communication at the end of 2011 in order to master communication strategies and techniques in companies and/or organisations.
Her professional insertion began long before, in 1999 when she joined Radio Nostalgie de Dakar, as an animator, one year after obtaining her Baccalaureate, out of passion. On the 90.3, among other contents, she animates in turn, the morning, the 9h – 12h, then 13h – 17h. She does not escape the weekend programs, to complete the loop of her apprenticeship.
She was part of the team that started RFM in 2004, and of Zik FM in 2008 as an animator and sales assistant. Previously, in 2006 at Ocean FM, she was appointed Program Manager. She is in charge of programming (newspaper, programmes…) , organising programmes and animators, coordinating between management and the animators, special programmes… In the same year, she began her television career by hosting the Lonase programme, JACKPOT TV, on RTS1.
In 2009, when she obtained her bachelor’s degree in journalism, she became an animator/producer at 2STV and hosted the educational program LES MÔMES, which became LES P’TITS ANGES on RTS. She is the Director of Karine & Co, a communication agency she has set up. A consulting agency in marketing communication, audiovisual production, event organisation and sale of African clothes and accessories. To date, she continues to do exceptional work in the field of communication and journalism.
In August 2021, it was co-opted by the Mayor of the commune of Mermoz Sacré-Cœur, to set up a communication cell. In January 2022, the Mayor of the said Commune was elected Mayor of the City of Dakar… Barthélémy DIAS first appointed her Technical Advisor in charge of Communication, then, in September 2022, Head of the Press and Communication Department of the City of Dakar, with, under his coordination, Radio digitale, TéléWeb, magazine de Dakar (RTMD).
She is presenter and TV and radio presenter, producer of audiovisual content (broadcasts, commercials…) At the same time, Karine is the creator of a chain of boutiques: ready to wear African outfits and accessories, hairdressing salon specialized in natural and organic products.
