The School of Engineering and Technology (SET) of the Supdeco Dakar Group recently organised a workshop on the Internet of Things (IoT) from 11 to 14 March 2024. Hosted by renowned expert Ivo Flammer from Inch Technologies, the event allowed students to dive into the challenges and opportunities offered by IoT.
The main objective of the workshop was to help students understand the concept of IoT and gain practical skills in prototyping on communicating objects. Through hands-on activities, participants were able to explore the technologies associated with IoT in a practical way and discover its many applications and uses.
The sessions led by Ivo Flammer were particularly rewarding, allowing students to ask pertinent questions and benefit from the in-depth knowledge of a field expert. The topics covered covered a wide range of topics, ranging from prototyping to understanding the challenges and opportunities associated with IoT.
This workshop was truly an immersive experience for SET students, preparing them to be competent and informed actors in the ever-changing field of IoT.
