Supdeco – ENSICAEN Partnership: An Opportunity for Our Students to Study in France

As part of its strategy to expand internationally and enhance student employability, Groupe Supdeco Dakar, through its School of Engineering and Technology, had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from its key academic partner, ENSICAEN, a French engineering school renowned for its expertise in digital technologies, cybersecurity, electronic payment systems, and embedded systems.

This visit is part of a strong and long-standing collaboration between the two institutions, driven by a shared ambition: to train African talent capable of thriving in high-level technological and financial environments.

A conference at the heart of electronic payment challenges

The meeting began with a conference dedicated to careers in electronic payment systems (monetics), a rapidly growing sector fueled by the digitalization of payments and the rise of fintechs in Africa.

Students from the School of Engineering and Technology gained valuable insights into:

  • developments in the electronic payments sector
  • skills sought by employers
  • international career opportunities

This interactive session also helped bridge the gap between academic learning and market realities, highlighting opportunities offered by specialized training programs.

A high-value academic partnership

As a long-standing partner of Supdeco, ENSICAEN has been supporting the development of students’ technical skills in highly employable fields for several years.

This partnership translates concretely into:

  • opportunities to pursue further studies in France
  • specialized programs, particularly in electronic payment systems and secure transactions
  • international exposure that facilitates professional integration

Several Supdeco students have already benefited from these academic pathways, continuing their studies at ENSICAEN and later joining demanding professional environments.

A forward-looking dynamic

The presence of Mr. Wilfried Aubry, Deputy Director of the ENSICAEN Apprenticeship Training Center (CFA), accompanied by Mr. Ndiaga Faye, Academic Coordinator of the Specialized Master’s in Electronic Payment Systems and Secure Transactions, helped strengthen academic exchanges and expand collaboration prospects.

Alongside Supdeco teams, including Dr. Falou Ndoye, Director of the School of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Meissa Diouf, International Relations Coordinator, and Dr. Fatou Faye, Lecturer and Researcher, this meeting marks a new milestone in the development of high-value programs.

An opportunity for future students

Through this type of strategic partnership, Supdeco Dakar reaffirms its commitment to offering its students excellence-driven pathways aligned with global market realities.

Joining the School of Engineering and Technology means benefiting from:

  • career-oriented training
  • international exposure
  • concrete opportunities to pursue further studies at renowned institutions such as ENSICAEN
