The Professional Career of Patrice SANE
Patrice SANE graduated in 2008 with a specialization in Marketing and Commercial Actions at the Executive Academy, the Group’s continuing education centre. During his studies, he was actively involved in community life as a member of the Student Association of the Executive Center.
His professional career began in August 2001 as Sales and Marketing Manager at SODIMEL, which covered areas such as IBE-CONECTIS HOUSE DAKAR, CONECTIS HOUSE BAMAKO – LE FORUM. His role was to define the company’s commercial strategy, encompassing Dakar and Bamako, until April 2011. In June 2011, he became Head of Sales at Espace Auto-Groupe CCBM, where his mission was to define the company’s commercial policy, lead and support the sales team, monitor market developments, and constantly adapt offers to remain competitive.
In April 2014, Patrice SANE was appointed Country Manager at SOCITECH SA (a subsidiary of the Ivorian SOCITECH Group, one of the largest service integration companies in West Africa), a company that supports clients in the adoption of new technologies. He held the same position at Novojob from May 2018 and then at April Africa (subsidiary of April Group, Lyonnais Group leader in insurance brokerage in France) in November 2018. As Country Manager, his main task was to manage the launch and development of products or services internationally, adapted to local markets.
In June 2018, Patrice SANE became Senior Communication Consultant at the Bureau d’Information Gouvernemental (BIG) in Senegal, before returning to the position of Country Manager at April Africa in November 2018. Her rise in the professional world is the result of her efforts and dedication. In January 2020, he was appointed Technical Advisor in charge of Communication (CT Com) at the Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Economy (MPEM), then continued to hold the same position full time within the Ministry of Environment, Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition until April 2023.
Currently, he is a Senior Consultant in Digital Transformation.
