Lionel OUEDRAOGO joined the Supdeco Dakar Group from 2005 to 2009 where he obtained his Master of Science (M.Sc.) Option Finance, Audit and Management Control. During these years of study at this prestigious school, Lionel distinguished himself by his discipline and rigour at work.
With the experience gained during the internships included in his training programme, his professional career started very early in April 2009 while he was still in the final year of his Master’s degree. He then joined the Atlantic Bank Senegal as Junior Controller of Management. Its task was to analyse and consolidate the performance of the different segments of the bank, define budgets and produce financial reports. Lionel held this position until October 2012.
Subsequently, in November 2012, in search of new challenges, Mr OUEDRAOGO became a Management Controller at Ecobank Burkina. In this position, he played a major role in strengthening the subsidiary’s management control system, implementing cost accounting and implementing IFRS standards for periodic reports at the Group. Lionel experienced a rapid rise in this bank, simultaneously occupying from 2014 and for three years (3 years) the position of Deputy Chief Financial Officer. In March 2017, he became the subsidiary’s Chief Financial Officer and was in charge of implementing the regulatory and prudential reforms that took place in the WAEMU area from 2018.
Her experience gained during these years and her constant desire to participate in the development of African banking groups allowed her to be appointed, from July 2021, to the position of Deputy Director of Finance and Management Control at Coris Holding S.A., the parent company of the Coris Group. Lionel’s mission is to oversee the Tax, Accounting and Management Control services throughout the Coris Group, while ensuring the gradual transformation of the finance function. He is also involved in the formulation and implementation of strategies, process and product innovation within the Coris Group.
Furthermore, Lionel is passionate about digital transformation with a particular focus on process automation, data governance, and team skills development. This has allowed him to make an impact in his business over the years through the successful conduct of digital transformation projects with high added value.
