Carrer Day: A springboard to the professional future of our students

The Supdeco Group, aware of the importance of preparing its students for successful professional integration, enthusiastically organised a Career Day at Campus Faidherbe on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 March. An invaluable opportunity for our students to benefit from valuable advice and enriching encounters in their field of expertise.

The event was structured around a series of exciting activities, aimed at providing students with the tools they need to make a successful transition to the professional world. These activities included specialized workshops by field of study, BtoB meetings with renowned alumni in management positions in various companies, plenary reinforcement sessions, as well as practical workshops to prepare for job interviews and valuable advice for those aspiring to entrepreneurship.

One of the highlights of this “Career Day” was the Master Class on “Personal Branding” led by Babacar LO, Founder and Director of TAAG-at. This session allowed students to understand the importance of developing their own personal brand to stand out in the job market.

The field-specific coaching workshops, covering HRM, CI Marketing, Finance and ACG, provided students with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and benefit from practical advice from experienced experts.

Another flagship initiative has been the creation of student profiles on the Taag Job Center platform, thus allowing recruiters to see the skills and career aspirations of students more clearly.

The event also included a simulation of job interviews in partnership with Timeless Recruit, led by Tabé DIALLO, CEO of Timeless Recruit. This hands-on experience allowed the students to become familiar with the recruitment process and to improve their interviewing skills.

Finally, the workshop on “Entrepreneurship Advice” led by Stanislas BEULEU, Founder of Africa Outsourcing, and Omar WAGUÉ, General Manager of Réflex Creative Agency, inspired students who wish to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure by providing them with valuable advice and testimonials.

The event was a success thanks to the commitment of alumni and stakeholders, as well as the active participation of students. He demonstrated the Group’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and professional support for its students, thus preparing them to become tomorrow’s leaders.

We would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of Career Day and look forward to seeing our students continue to shine in their careers.
