Supdeco x ENSICAEN Academic Exchange: A Strategic Partnership for Scientific Excellence and International Mobility

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Groupe Supdeco Dakar, through its School of Computer Science and Engineering, had the honor of welcoming a delegation from ENSICAEN (École Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Caen – Normandie), a prestigious French engineering school and a longstanding strategic partner of Supdeco for over 15 years.

The delegation, led by Mr. Gilles Ban, Director of ENSICAEN, included Mr. Wilfried Aubry, Deputy Director of the ENSICAEN Apprenticeship Training Center (CFA), and Mr. Ndiaga Faye, Academic Director of the specialized Master’s program in Electronic Payments and Secure Transactions.

The ceremony, held on Supdeco’s Point E campus, brought together students, faculty members, academic leaders, and engineering enthusiasts for a moment of rich, dynamic, and forward-looking exchange.

A historic partnership built on excellence

For more than a decade, the collaboration between Supdeco and ENSICAEN has provided Senegalese students with access to international mobility programs, top-tier engineering education, and pathways to employment in major French companies.

Concrete opportunities for our students

Several academic exchange options are available as part of this partnership:

  • Bachelor Exchange Program: Two years of study in France, resulting in a double degree from Supdeco and ENSICAEN.
  • Master Program: One year of specialization in France, also leading to a double degree.
  • Engineering Pathway: Two years of scientific preparatory classes (CP2S) at Supdeco followed by three years at ENSICAEN, culminating in a CTI-accredited Engineering Degree (Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur).

An inspiring moment for academic and professional guidance

The presentation of these programs sparked great interest among students eager to broaden their academic and professional horizons. The ENSICAEN delegation praised Supdeco’s commitment to academic excellence and international development.

This visit marks another milestone in a growing collaboration, dedicated to advancing scientific training, student mobility, and global employability.
