The Mediterranean Master students of our partner CIFE-International Centre for European Training continue their exciting journey through West Africa, with a current stop in Banjul, The Gambia.
After an enriching stay in Dakar, they are now heading to Banjul, the charming Gambian capital, where new discoveries and exchanges await them.
Their stay in Dakar was marked by a deep immersion in Senegalese culture, politics and economy. They attended the historic presidential election on March 24, 2024, an experience that gave them a unique insight into the country’s democratic process.
In addition to political activities, the students had the opportunity to meet key actors of economic and social development in Senegal, as well as representatives of NGOs and civil society.
A round table on “Education and training as prerequisites for development”, organised in partnership with the EU Delegation to Senegal and CIFE, allowed students to explore in depth the challenges and opportunities in the field of education and vocational training.
Their visit to ACTION AGAINST HUNGER was also significant, giving them an insight into the crucial work of the NGO to fight malnutrition and promote food security.
Now in Banjul, students are eager to discover The Gambia and deepen their understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this new context. Their collaboration with our colleagues at Supdeco Campus Banjul promises to further enrich their experience and learning.
Enjoy your stay !!!
