On Saturday, June 21, the Dakar Arena resonated with pride and emotion during the official Supdeco Graduation Ceremony 2025 — a landmark event reflecting the ambitions of our institution and the aspirations of an entire generation.
Nearly 1,000 graduates were honored in front of their proud families, faculty members, and distinguished guests. Over 5,000 attendees filled the arena in a vibrant atmosphere that was both solemn and celebratory.
Three Patrons of Distinction, One Powerful Message
We had the privilege of being supported by three outstanding figures who agreed to sponsor this edition, each of whom embodies professional excellence, African leadership, and a strong commitment to youth education:
- Ousmane Mbaye, CEO of Dangote Cement Senegal, Supdeco alumnus, Patron of the 26th graduating class
- Ibrahima Nour Eddine Diagne, CEO of Gaïndé 2000, Patron of the 27th graduating class
- Félix Lamah, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock of the Republic of Guinea, Supdeco alumnus, Patron of the 28th graduating class
In their speeches, they each emphasized the responsibility of graduates to uphold the values of leadership, discipline, and service, well beyond national borders.
An Event Presided Over by the Minister of Higher Education
We were honored to welcome Mr. Abdourahmane Diouf, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, who officially presided over the ceremony.
In his remarks, he praised the academic excellence and strong positioning of Supdeco within Senegal’s educational landscape, while highlighting the critical role of public-private partnerships in fostering educational inclusion and youth employability.
A Celebration Open to Africa and the World
This 2025 edition was marked by the presence of business leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, international academic partners, and a committed community of Supdeco alumni, who proudly came to support the new graduates.
The emotional highlight of the day came during the parade of nationalities, showcasing the diversity of our student body, with over 25 nationalities represented across our campuses.
Symbolic and Heartfelt Moments
The ceremony featured vibrant artistic performances, a moving choir, and impactful speeches, creating unforgettable memories for everyone in attendance.
The event concluded with the traditional cap toss, symbolizing the leap into a new future.
