On Thursday, April 18, the School of Management (SOM) launched the Master in Regulatory Compliance and Internal Risk Control. The teachings will begin on 03 June 2024.
Indeed, the world of finance has undergone major upheavals since the financial crisis of 2008, and Bale’s prudential arrangements ( 2&3) provide a greater framework for the activities and transactions of financial institutions. Within the EUOMA, Circular N°05-2017 makes compliance management mandatory for credit institutions and financial companies.
The Groupe Sup of co Dakar, faithful to its tradition of innovation, has always accompanied the changes of the economic sector in Africa with cutting-edge training. The objective of the Master in Regulatory Compliance and Internal Risk Control is to train high-level executives in the field of compliance and regulatory oversight. In addition to compliance, this program strengthens financial management knowledge.
The afternoon of 18 April was enhanced by a panel on “Banking Compliance and Commercial Performance”. Panel moderated by Jean Aimé, head of the programme, Moussa Sylla, alumni of the Sup group of Co Dakar and author of the book “Banking compliance in Senegal and the UEOMA zone”.
