Papa Iba Faye began his academic career at the Supdeco Dakar Group by successfully obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting in 2008. Building on this initial success, he continued his studies with a focus on finance. Indeed, he obtained a Master 1 in Finance, Audit and Management Control, then a Master 2 in Banking-Finance, where he deepened his knowledge and developed his skills to excel in the financial sector. This clearly demonstrates its commitment to excellence and its willingness to improve in its field of expertise.
He began his career in January 2009 as a Credit Agent at Microcred, which later became Baobab Group. It designs and markets financial products and services such as credit, savings, insurance and money transfer products. Its mandate was to manage a portfolio of 512 clients, conduct prospecting, and ensure the evaluation of client activity.
In August 2010, he joined BICIS BNP Paribas Dakar as a Professional Assistant, where he was responsible for financial analysis, accompanying salespeople on customer visits, and reporting accounts receivable. In January 2012, he was promoted to Senior Business Officer at the same bank, where he managed and optimised a portfolio of high-end SME/SMI and private clients, controlled cash registers and ATMs, validated credit and account opening files, among other responsibilities.
Thanks to his diligence and patience, Mr. Papa Iba Faye has risen dramatically. He became Director of the Marist Agency in November 2014, then Director of the Lamine Gueye Agency in September 2017. In September 2019, he was appointed Director of the Thiès Agency at BICIS Groupe SUNU, where he oversaw the development of the agency’s goodwill, steered and coached a team, and monitored the business results on a daily basis to take corrective actions if necessary.
Today, Iba is an Entity Director and Expert Trainer. He manages a team of 11 individual client advisors, 3 financial wealth advisors and 4 professional business managers. It ensures the proper understanding and implementation of the strategy defined by the Directorate, sets objectives, monitors activity to achieve the assigned objectives, and designs and conducts training sessions.
