Mohamed DIOP joined the Supdeco Dakar Group in 2009, where he obtained a Master of Science in Business Administration (2009–2011). This training enabled him to acquire a solid command of the fundamentals of management, finance, marketing, and business development, while developing a strategic vision of organizations operating in complex and international environments.
Wishing to strengthen his international exposure and entrepreneurial skills, he passed a competitive selection process organized by the U.S. Embassy in Senegal to complete a certification in Social Entrepreneurship at leading American universities. Upon his return to Senegal, Mohamed was selected to be part of a team of four young leaders forming the selection and steering committee of the YALI program launched by President Barack OBAMA, which trains 500 young Africans in the United States each year.
His professional integration began very early, notably within the Supdeco Dakar Junior Enterprise, where he served as Head of Prospecting, Administration, and Finance between 2008 and 2011. In this role, he participated in market studies, commercial prospecting missions, and consulting projects for renowned institutions, thereby developing his first hands-on experience in business development and financial management.
In parallel, Mohamed DIOP gained solid experience in audit and financial control at EY, working on assignments involving bank reconciliations, cash control, and procedure audits for major companies and institutions such as Sanofi Aventis, Orange Senegal, the BCEAO, and Dakarnave. He also contributed to the Dakar American Applied Research Training (DAART) program, a pilot initiative of the U.S. Department of State focused on selecting, monitoring, and evaluating projects in several West and Central African countries.
Driven by commercial development, he then moved toward Business Development and Sales roles within several international groups. He successively held positions as Business Development Manager at Digital Electronics, Account Manager at Kerry Logistics, and Outside Sales Account Executive at Bolloré Africa Logistics, where he actively contributed to the growth of commercial activities and the management of major B2B accounts.
In 2017, Mohamed DIOP joined Afro Exports Ltd., regional distributor of the ASSA ABLOY Hospitality group, as Regional Sales Manager for West and Central Africa. There, he led the commercial development of access control and hospitality security solutions across more than 20 countries, strengthening his expertise in regional market management, international negotiation, and commercial performance leadership.
From 2022 to 2023, he served as Regional Business Development Manager for West & Central Africa at IT Hospitality Group, overseeing 25 countries and developing innovative technological solutions (networks, WiFi, IPTV, security, IT systems) for the hospitality sector and major infrastructures.
Since June 2024, Mohamed DIOP has been the Director of Commercial and Marketing Development at Ciments de l’Afrique, where he oversees commercial and marketing strategy, market development, key account management, and team performance, contributing actively to the group’s growth and influence in the sub-region.
Today, Mohamed DIOP fully embodies Supdeco’s core values: international outlook, leadership, rigor, and ambition. His journey, marked by a strong pan-African and multicultural dimension, is a true source of inspiration for students and young graduates.
We wish him continued success in his professional and personal journey and are proud to count him among the alumni who proudly uphold the colors of Supdeco Dakar.
