The School of Engineering and Technology explores the issues and challenges of IoT during a Digitalk session

The School of Engineering and Technology (SET) recently organized, as part of its Workshop, a Digitalk session on March 11, 2024, highlighting the issues and challenges of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Senegal. This exciting meeting was facilitated by Mr.Ivo Flammer, representative of Inch Technologies, as part of the workshop dedicated to IoT.

SET students actively participated in the event, demonstrating a keen interest in the implications of IoT in the Senegalese context. The exchanges were rewarding, with students asking pertinent questions that helped deepen the collective understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with this emerging technology.

This initiative underscores SET’s commitment to offering its students opportunities to discover and explore relevant and current topics in the field of engineering and technology. IoT, as an ever-changing field, offers a fertile ground for learning and collaboration, and SET strives to stay at the forefront of these developments.

Stay tuned for future EETS events and initiatives as it continues to provide an environment conducive to learning, innovating and discovering new opportunities in the exciting world of engineering and technology.
