As part of the Creativity and General Culture course, our students had the opportunity to enjoy an enriching academic and cultural experience through an educational visit to the Museum of Black Civilizations, led by Ms. Yasmine Sy, Deputy General Director and also the course instructor.
Far more than a simple academic outing, this immersive experience aimed to broaden the students’ horizons, stimulate their creativity, and strengthen their general knowledge through the discovery of Africa’s historical, artistic, and intellectual heritage.
Through the various exhibitions, students were able to explore the richness of African civilizations, understand the cultural dynamics that have shaped the continent, and gain a new perspective on history, identity, and innovation. An experience that reminds us that creativity is often born from curiosity, observation, and the ability to connect knowledge.
In a constantly evolving world, general culture has become a true lever for differentiation. It helps develop critical thinking, open-mindedness, analytical skills, and interpersonal intelligence — essential competencies for the leaders and professionals of tomorrow.
