Supdeco Dakar – Alumni of the Month – Aida DIENG, Communication & CSR Manager at Vivo Energy Sénégal

Supdeco Dakar alumna, Aida DIENG embodies strong and disciplined leadership, built over time and guided by high standards, commitment, and a sense of impact.

Her academic background in Marketing Strategy and Communication at Supdeco Dakar, completed in 2002 with High Honors following the defense of a dissertation recognized as a reference work by the Dakar Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its quality, provided her with a solid foundation that she has continuously strengthened throughout more than twenty years of professional growth.

Her career path has led her to hold key positions in demanding environments, particularly in the port, telecommunications, insurance, and hydrocarbons sectors. She notably worked at Orange and later supported the transformation from Shell to Vivo Energy Sénégal, where she held several strategic roles in Sales and Marketing for over a decade, including Fishing Sites, Lubricants, Loyalty, Payments & Card Manager. Over the years, she developed recognized expertise in marketing, communication, and brand management.

In 2012, she further enhanced her academic journey by earning a second Master’s degree in Commercial Strategies and International Relations, strengthening both her international outlook and her understanding of global business challenges.

From 2014 to 2025, as Senior Brand & Marketing Manager at Vivo Energy Sénégal, she led short- and long-term marketing strategies, developed initiatives to strengthen the visibility of the Shell brand, coordinated flagship projects with internal and external stakeholders, and supervised communication agencies and business partners.

Since January 2026, Aida DIENG has served as Communication & CSR Manager at Vivo Energy Sénégal, where she leads institutional communication and corporate social responsibility strategies. In this role, she plays a key part in enhancing the company’s image, managing the brand, and implementing impactful initiatives for communities and peers, thereby contributing to the visibility and influence of the group.
