Sponsored by Prof. Abdoulaye Racine Senghor, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Museum, this week dedicated to reading highlighted the importance of literature in the search for oneself.

A Rich and Varied Event

Under the main theme “Reading at the heart of the quest for self”, the objectives of Book Week were to promote African literature, raise awareness of the importance of literary culture, demonstrate the interculturality of the Supdeco Group, encourage reading for personal fulfilment, and integrate new technologies into reading practices.

The three days of the event were punctuated by performances of slam, music, exhibitions, debates and demonstrations of oratory art. These activities not only entertained the participants, but also stimulated their reflection on the various dimensions of reading.
