A graduate of Supdeco Dakar in 2017 with a Master\u2019s degree in Business Intelligence & Marketing, Laurent recalls his involvement in the Junior Enterprise as one of the most defining experiences of his student years. It introduced him early on to the importance of community engagement and collective dynamics in building successful projects.<\/p>\n
He began his career in business development and communications at Focus SN Agency and later at Les Barbus, contributing to projects across West Africa. These experiences allowed him to better understand both the needs of organizations and the potential of young professionals in the creative sector.<\/p>\n
In 2018, he joined Safari Studios as Business Development Manager, where he deepened his understanding of content production processes and brand challenges. This experience helped shape his vision of the connections between strategy, production, and execution.<\/p>\n
Building on this experience, he co-founded WURUS LAB in 2019. The agency was designed as a hybrid structure operating at the intersection of consulting, production, and collaboration among complementary talents. It supports organizations in developing communication strategies while mobilizing local expertise for high-impact projects.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Laurent launched several complementary initiatives. Through NOMAD, he develops impactful institutional content, while Key Motion creates networking opportunities for professionals in the creative industries, fostering collaboration and facilitating the exchange of skills and expertise.<\/p>\n
His commitment also extends to film production, particularly through self-produced short fiction films. In a context where resources are often limited, he advocates for an approach based on resource sharing and teamwork, enabling emerging filmmakers to create works that meet international standards.<\/p>\n
Laurent was also admitted to the Challenge+ Afrique program at HEC Paris, a milestone that reflects his ongoing commitment to learning, growth, and the structured development of his ventures.<\/p>\n
